| Obverse description | The elaborate tughra of Sultan Selim III occupies the upper portion of the field, rendered in the characteristic calligraphic Ottoman style with sweeping loops and vertical strokes. Beneath the tughra, a horizontal band contains the mint name and regnal year in Arabic script. The entire central composition is enclosed within a plain circular border. The overall design follows the standard Ottoman provincial coinage convention, with the sovereign's monogram dominating the obverse field. |
