| 背面描述 | Printed in dark brown and red on a beige ground, the reverse carries four allegorical vignettes arranged in a square at centre: upper left shows a soldier advancing through a battlefield; upper right a blacksmith or labourer at work; lower left a mourning woman with a child amid grain stalks; and lower right a skeletal figure of Death seated with a scale of justice, evoking the hardships of wartime. The denomination numeral "100" appears in ornamental cartouches on both lateral margins, flanked by dense horizontal guilloche bands in red and brown. A boldly lettered Gothic header reads "Staatskassenschein über Einhundert Mark" and the footer carries "100 Mark Herzogtum Braunschweig 100 Mark" with a counterfeiting warning in small text below the vignettes. |
