Opis awersu	Brown and red note with an elaborate guilloche border frame enclosing repeated small underprint vignettes of the Brunswick arms with a horse passant throughout the centre field. A ducal crown surmounts a large central shield of the Brunswick coat of arms in dark red. The denomination "Einhundert Mark" is set in bold Gothic script across the centre, with the issuing authority "Herzogl. Braunschw. Staatskassenschein" above in Fraktur lettering. A clause text in small Gothic script gives redemption conditions dated Braunschweig, 13. Oktober 1918, and a perforated cancellation reads across the lower portion of the note.

Opis rewersu	Printed in dark brown and red on a beige ground, the reverse carries four allegorical vignettes arranged in a square at centre: upper left shows a soldier advancing through a battlefield; upper right a blacksmith or labourer at work; lower left a mourning woman with a child amid grain stalks; and lower right a skeletal figure of Death seated with a scale of justice, evoking the hardships of wartime. The denomination numeral "100" appears in ornamental cartouches on both lateral margins, flanked by dense horizontal guilloche bands in red and brown. A boldly lettered Gothic header reads "Staatskassenschein über Einhundert Mark" and the footer carries "100 Mark Herzogtum Braunschweig 100 Mark" with a counterfeiting warning in small text below the vignettes.
