Descrizione del dritto	Green-tinted face with an elaborate guilloche border framing the entire field; the Ottoman tughra is centred at the top above a panel of Ottoman script giving the bank name and denomination. To the left, an oval intaglio medallion carries the numeral '100' and the French legend 'BANQUE IMPERIALE OTTOMANE / LIVRES TURQUES', with a mirror panel in Ottoman script to the right. Two manuscript signatures appear at the lower centre above the printed French legend 'Remboursable à Constantinople' at the foot.

Descrizione del rovescio	Printed in sepia-brown on a pale ground, the reverse is dominated by a large central vignette of interlocking guilloche rosettes, flanked on each side by a circular medallion bearing the numeral '100'. A central cartouche in Ottoman script states the denomination and issuing authority, with the French words 'LIVRES' and 'TURQUES' placed above and below the guilloche vignette respectively, and a small decorative panel at the foot.
