Reverse description The central vignette presents a finely engraved intaglio scene of a Bulgarian peasant ploughman in traditional dress guiding a wooden plough drawn by two oxen across a field, with a mountainous landscape in the background. Denomination numerals "100" occupy large guilloche panels at left and right within a dark olive-brown border of intricate geometric and floral ornament. The bank name in French appears along the top, with the Cyrillic denomination below it, and an anti-counterfeiting warning in Cyrillic is printed across the lower margin.
