Popis líce	The obverse bears conjoined portrait vignettes of King Ferdinand I and Queen Maria at right, with their names and life dates — "REGELE FERDINAND I 1865-1927" and "REGINA MARIA 1875-1938" — inscribed below in two lines. A central vignette reproduces the Great National Assembly at Alba Iulia of 1 December 1918, flanked by the Romanian coat of arms in the upper left and the bank title "BANCA NAȚIONALĂ A ROMÂNIEI" horizontally across the top, with the NBR medallion logo and the commemorative dates "1918-2018" below; the face value "100" appears four times in varying orientations, supplemented by the spelled denomination "LEI UNA SUTĂ" and "UNA SUTĂ LEI", with the issue date "1 decembrie 2018" printed vertically at right.

Popis rubu	The reverse carries a historical vignette of the royal cortege entering Bucharest on 1 December 1918, accompanied by a detail of King Ferdinand I's mace and four female figures in regional folk costumes representing Bessarabia, Romania, Transylvania, and Bukovina. The bank title "BANCA NAȚIONALĂ A ROMÂNIEI" runs horizontally across the upper portion, with the NBR logo repeated in the upper right and lower left corners; the face value "100" is placed vertically in the upper left and horizontally in the lower right, with "UNA SUTĂ LEI" in the lower left, while the serial number appears horizontally in red ink with ascending character heights at left and vertically in black ink at right, and the anti-counterfeiting legend "FALSIFICAREA ACESTOR BILETE SE PEDEPSEȘTE CONFORM LEGILOR" is printed along the lower margin.
