Obverse description At center, the Czechoslovak socialist state arms depicting a rampant double-tailed lion within a shield bearing a socialist emblem, the whole presented in high relief against a plain field. The denomination '100 KCS' appears in large numerals below the shield. The circular legend 'CESKOSLOVENSKA SOCIALISTICKA REPUBLIKA' runs along the periphery, divided left and right of the central device.
