Reverse description A finely modeled left-facing bust portrait of the Bohemian etcher and engraver Václav Hollar (1607–1677), rendered in a naturalistic baroque style with long flowing hair falling to the shoulder. The name 'VÁCLAV HOLLAR' is inscribed in capital letters along the left field, running vertically adjacent to the portrait. The commemorative dates '1677' and '1977' are stacked in two lines at the lower left, marking the three-hundredth anniversary of his death. A small mintmaster's mark 'M' appears in the lower central exergue area.
