| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait of King Sisavang Vatthana in military uniform occupies the left third of the note, framed by ornate floral and mythological scroll borders on both lateral margins. To the right, a vignette of Wat Si Saket temple in Vientiane is rendered in fine engraving against a light guilloche underprint. The Lao-script bank title appears in a decorative cartouche at the top centre, with the denomination in Lao numerals at lower right and two facsimile signatures below their respective Lao and French titles. |

| Reverse description | The reverse carries a rural scene with a farmer seated in an ox-drawn cart at centre, set against a riverine landscape. To the right, a child rides a water buffalo, while high-tension electrical power towers appear in the background, evoking national development. French-language text and the denomination figure are printed across the upper register, with fine guilloche border work framing the entire composition. |
