Obverse description Printed in blue on cream paper, the obverse is dominated by large Gothic lettering reading HUNDERT KARBOWANEZ against a fine guilloche underprint, with the denomination numeral 100 repeated in the corners. To the right, an intaglio oval vignette presents a portrait of a Ukrainian woman in traditional folk headdress, set within an ornate lathe-work border. Below the central text, the issuing authority, place and date of issue (Rowno, den 10. März 1942), a manuscript facsimile signature, the Zentralnotenbank Ukraine eagle seal, and a red serial number are arranged across the lower field.
