| Obverse description | Printed in blue on cream paper, the obverse is dominated by large Gothic lettering reading HUNDERT KARBOWANEZ against a fine guilloche underprint, with the denomination numeral 100 repeated in the corners. To the right, an intaglio oval vignette presents a portrait of a Ukrainian woman in traditional folk headdress, set within an ornate lathe-work border.
