| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Zog I of Albania, modeled in high relief with finely engraved hair and strong facial features in the neoclassical tradition. The truncation of the neck is cleanly cut. A circular legend surrounds the portrait, reading ZOG·I·MBRETI·I·SHQIPTAREVET, with the date 1938 and the Rome mint mark R positioned in the lower exergual area. |
