Obverse description Three Giant Eland antelopes (Taurotragus derbianus) depicted in high relief, their heads and long spiralling horns emerging from a bed of stylized tall grass occupying the lower field. The animals face right in a naturalistic, layered composition conveying depth and movement. The curved legend REPUBLIQUE CENTRAFRICAINE arcs along the upper periphery. The engraver's signature G.B.BAZOR appears to the right of the central motif, with the mint mark (R) visible at the lower center of the field.

Reverse description The large denomination numeral 100 dominates the central field, rendered in a distinctive decorative style with dotted borders and rounded rectangular outlines. The word FRANCS appears beneath the numeral in bold lettering. The date is displayed at the bottom within a curved ribbon or scroll cartouche. The curved legend BANQUE CENTRALE arcs along the upper periphery, flanked on either side by ornamental panels featuring interlaced zigzag and rope-twist motifs in an African decorative style. Two small Monnaie de Paris privy marks flank the numeral in the field.
