Reverse description The reverse features a three-quarter portrait bust of Emperor Rudolf II in period attire, wearing an elaborate ruffled collar and richly ornamented doublet, positioned in the left foreground. Behind the effigy, a detailed panoramic view of Prague is depicted, including the Charles Bridge with its characteristic arches spanning the Vltava River and Prague Castle with the Cathedral of Saint Vitus rising prominently on the hilltop. The incuse legend RUDOLF II. KÖNIG v.BÖHMEN arcs along the lower rim within a beaded border, identifying the sovereign as King of Bohemia. The finely engraved cityscape fills the entire field with architectural precision, reflecting the Habsburg imperial capital at its height.
