| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King George II of Greece in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief with bold, sculptural modeling. The legend ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Β' ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ curves along the upper periphery in Greek majuscules, identifying the monarch as King of the Greeks.
