正面描述 This cut note preserves the right portion of P#67, printed in blue and green tones. The central vignette presents the Greek royal coat of arms within an elaborate guilloche cartouche framed by classical columns; the numeral 100 appears above and below the arms. A red diagonal overprint reading 'ΝΕΟ!' crosses the central vignette, and a manuscript signature above the serial number appears in the lower right area alongside the printed title 'Ο ΒΑΣ. ΕΠΙΤΡΟΠΟΣ'.

备注

The 1926 100 Drachmai issue came during a period of acute monetary instability in Greece. Following the catastrophic population exchange with Turkey after the 1922 defeat in Anatolia, over a million refugees flooded into Greece, placing enormous pressure on public finances. The National Bank of Greece, still operating as both a commercial and issuing institution before the Bank of Greece was established in 1928, resorted to splitting existing higher-denomination notes to create smaller-denomination currency — a stopgap measure that produced the "cut note" variants of this series.

The cut was made vertically through the original sheet, with each half receiving its own validation.
