| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse displays the arms of Singapore at center, featuring a shield charged with a crescent moon and five stars, supported by a lion rampant to the left and a tiger rampant to the right, with a ribbon below bearing the national motto MAJULAH SINGAPURA. The country name appears in three scripts arranged around the device: SINGAPURA arching along the upper rim in Latin, the Tamil legend சிங்கப்பூர் along the left field, and the Chinese characters 新加坡 along the right field. The date 2011 is inscribed below the arms, and SINGAPORE curves along the lower rim in Latin script. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Singapore's Lunar New Year bullion series has been issued annually since 1990, making the rabbit the twenty-second entry in an unbroken run. The Monetary Authority of Singapore produces these in close coordination with the Singapore Mint, with distribution heavily weighted toward the regional gift-giving market — the majority of each year's mintage moves through Singapore and Malaysia in the weeks surrounding the new year holiday rather than through conventional numismatic channels.
