Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl drop earring, with a beaded necklace visible at the truncation. The portrait, executed in fine relief against a mirror-polished field, is attributed to the Raphael Maklouf effigy used on Commonwealth coinage from 1985. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left periphery and SOLOMON ISLANDS along the right, with the date 1995 positioned below the bust.
