The Huron figure, positioned in the foreground, is adorned with feathers, beaded necklace, and traditional dress, while the missionary behind her wears a broad-brimmed hat. In the lower right field, a detailed depiction of the mission's log chapel and palisade structure is rendered in fine engraved relief.
