备注	Belize had only become an independent nation in September 1981 — meaning this 1980 note was issued while the country was still British Honduras, a Crown Colony. The Monetary Authority of Belize had been established in 1976, replacing the Currency Board, giving the territory its first locally-administered issuing body before independence was formally achieved.
