Obverse description The national coat of arms of Belize occupies the central field, featuring two woodcutters as supporters flanking a shield charged with tools and a sailing ship, surmounted by a mahogany tree, with the motto ribbon inscribed SUB UMBRA FLOREO below. The arms are encircled by an open laurel wreath. The country name BELIZE arcs along the upper legend, while the denomination 100 DOLLARS is inscribed across the lower field. A beaded border runs along the inner rim.
