Two portrait vignettes flank the central design: a bearded gentleman at left and a mustachioed gentleman at right, both in formal attire. The centre carries the bank's arms within an elaborate cartouche surmounted by the legend 'ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS', with the date 'Montreal, Jan. 2nd, 1923' and two manuscript signatures below, titled 'General Manager' and 'President' respectively; the denomination '100' appears in large numerals at upper left and right corners within guilloche panels.
