To the left, an oval vignette contains a bust portrait of King Edward VII in military dress uniform. The centre bears the denomination ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS in a bold countersigned panel, with the issuing legend BANK OF HAMILTON at the top, the place and date HAMILTON, 2nd JAN, 1904 to the right, and the promise clause WILL PAY TO BEARER ON DEMAND surrounding the central cartouche. Numeral counters 100 appear in all four corners, and two manuscript signatures appear along the lower margin above the titles PRESIDENT and PROVINCIAL MANAGER. |
