背面描述 The reverse is centred on a detailed vignette of the Mona monkey (Cercopithecus mona), the endemic macaque of São Tomé, set against a stylised outline map of São Tomé and Príncipe rendered in multicoloured guilloche fields of green, teal, gold, and blue. The bank name and denomination appear in intaglio lettering, with the scientific name of the primate printed below the central vignette.

备注

São Tomé and Príncipe's dobra was redenominated in 2010 at a rate of 1,000 old dobras to 1 new dobra, a reform tied directly to the country's monetary agreement with Portugal and the peg to the euro. This 100-dobra note entered circulation well after that transition stabilized, filling the lower-denomination slot in a series designed to reduce the confusion that had dogged the immediate post-redenomination years.

Thomas De La Rue's involvement here is unsurprising — they have handled São Tomé's notes across multiple series — but the addition of a hologram to a note of this face value is worth noting, given the island nation's historically limited annual print runs and the relatively modest purchasing power this denomination represents.
