| Obverse description | Central vignette presents a seated allegorical female figure of Serbia, her right arm outstretched in a gesture of summons, set against a panoramic background of Belgrade on the Sava River with sailing vessels and a steamship. Portions of the original design carry overprints masking inscriptions and emblems rendered invalid under the 1941 occupation administration. The composition is executed in a classical intaglio style with fine guilloche underprint elements framing the central imagery. |
