| 表面の説明 | The obverse features a richly detailed rectangular field with a dark background. Three gilt figures of Christian saints rendered in an Orthodox iconographic style are depicted in the upper central portion, each nimbed with halos and draped in flowing robes, set against a decorative Gothic tracery background. Below them appears a detailed engraving of a Macedonian Orthodox church building in silver relief, with a small reliquary or monstrance depicted to the lower right. The denomination '100' and 'ДЕНАРИ' appear in the upper left field alongside the date '2014', and the state emblem of the Republic of Macedonia is positioned in the upper right. The legend 'РЕПУБЛИКА МАКЕДОНИJА' is inscribed along the lower portion of the field in large Cyrillic characters, with the fineness 'Ag 925' and weight '31.1 g' noted in the central lower field. |

This issue commemorates Vera, Nada, and Ljubov — the Slavic equivalents of Faith, Hope, and Love — and their mother Sophia, early Christian martyrs executed under Hadrian in Rome around 137 AD. Their veneration runs deep in Orthodox tradition across the Balkans, and Macedonia's choice to mint them reflects the country's broader project of anchoring national identity to pre-Ottoman Christian heritage during a period of acute diplomatic pressure over the Macedonia naming dispute with Greece.
