| Opis awersu | Cast bronze cash coin of the Min Kingdom, struck during the brief Tiande reign period. The obverse displays four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) arranged in cruciform reading order around a central square perforation: 天 (Tian) above, 寶 (Bao) below, 德 (De) to the right, and 重 (Zhong) to the left, reading 天德重寶 (Tiande Zhongbao, meaning 'Tiande Heavy Treasure'). The characters are boldly cast in raised relief with broad, well-defined strokes against a flat, unadorned field. The coin is framed by a raised inner rim surrounding the square hole and a prominent raised outer rim encircling the coin's periphery. The overall style is characteristic of Five Dynasties period Chinese numismatic tradition. |

A single Chinese character 殷 (Yin), denoting the Yin Kingdom — the short-lived state proclaimed by Wang Yanzheng within the collapsing Min Kingdom — appears above the square hole, cast in raised regular script. The field shows evidence of natural patination consistent with the bronze alloy and age of the piece.
