The issuer's name 'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' runs across the upper margin, the denomination legend 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' occupies the central register, and two manuscript signatures with their respective titles appear below, while the numeral '100' is repeated in both lower corners.

Descrizione del rovescio	Executed in the same red and pink palette, the reverse places an elaborate guilloche rosette with the large numeral '100' in the left field, while the central and right areas present a fine intaglio architectural vignette of the Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca, its arcaded courtyard and bell tower rendered in precise line work. 'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' is inscribed across the upper margin, 'UNIVERSIDAD SAN FRANCISCO XAVIER DE CHUQUISACA' accompanies the building vignette, and 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' appears along the lower margin.
