Description de l’avers	Printed in red and pink tones over a light guilloche underprint, the obverse carries a portrait vignette of a bearded gentleman in the right field, with the Bolivian coat of arms rendered as an underprint medallion at centre. The issuer's name 'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' runs across the upper margin, the denomination legend 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' occupies the central register, and two manuscript signatures with their respective titles appear below, while the numeral '100' is repeated in both lower corners.

'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' is inscribed across the upper margin, 'UNIVERSIDAD SAN FRANCISCO XAVIER DE CHUQUISACA' accompanies the building vignette, and 'CIEN BOLIVIANOS' appears along the lower margin.
