Obverse description The National Coat of Arms of Muscat and Oman occupies the central field, depicting two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid by two crossed swords, all rendered in fine detail. A decorative inner border of small denticles frames the design. The Arabic legend encircles the coat of arms, reading from upper right around the left side and along the lower portion of the field, identifying the ruling sultan and the sultanate.
