| 正面描述 | Bare-headed right-facing portrait bust of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), depicted wearing spectacles and traditional royal attire with an ornate collar visible at the truncation. Issued as part of a wave of Thai commemorative silver struck in the early 1970s, this piece was produced to support — and draw international attention to — wildlife conservation efforts at a moment when Thailand's forests were under severe pressure from logging concessions and the residual environmental damage of the Vietnam War era's defoliation campaigns across the region. The .500 fineness was a deliberate cost compromise to allow wider distribution without sacrificing the commemorative silver format.
