| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the national emblem of Mongolia — a soyombo symbol flanked by two mythical dragons — set within a radiating sunburst border and an inner beaded ring. The denomination '100.000' appears at the top of the field in Latin numerals, with 'MONGOLIA' along the right and 'TOGROG' along the bottom in Latin script. Mongolian script inscription runs vertically along the left side of the field. The date '2002' is inscribed in the lower portion of the central device, with 'Silver 999' and '3000g' noted in small characters at the lower left and right respectively. Surrounding the central medallion, a wide outer border contains a procession of horses in various dynamic poses — rearing, galloping, and running — rendered in high relief against a darkened background. The composition celebrates the Lunar Year of the Horse with exceptional sculptural detail and traditional Mongolian artistic sensibility. The outer rim repeats the geometric meander border seen on the obverse. No additional lettering appears on this side. |
