100 000 Rupiah

Perum Peruri — the state printing works established in 1971 — handles virtually all of Indonesia's banknote production domestically, an arrangement that gives the government tight control over the supply chain but has historically produced notes with security features slightly behind international commercial printers. The 100,000 Rupiah is the archipelago's highest denomination, and print runs for this series were comparatively modest: just over 12 million across the full 2011–2014 window.

The security specification — watermark and thread only — is lean for a note at this face value, reflecting the denomination's purchasing power in a high-inflation currency rather than any lapse in policy.
