The central vignette shows a panoramic red-printed view of the city of Pirmasens framed within a diamond-shaped border, flanked on both sides by geometric guilloche panels bearing the denomination '1000 MARK' in black letterpress. A large green overprint reading '100 000 Mark' is applied diagonally across the centre, superseding the original face value. Below the central vignette, the circular official seal of Stadtgemeinde Pirmasens is impressed, accompanied by the issuing authority text 'Pirmasens, 12. Juli 1923 – Stadtrat Pirmasens.' Anti-counterfeiting warnings in small text run along the left and right margins, while the series designation 'Reihe A' and serial number appear at the upper centre. |
