| Obverse description | The obverse of this Notgeld Gutschein is printed in black, red, and green on cream paper. The central vignette shows a panoramic red-printed view of the city of Pirmasens framed within a diamond-shaped border, flanked on both sides by geometric guilloche panels bearing the denomination '1000 MARK' in black letterpress. A large green overprint reading '100 000 Mark' is applied diagonally across the centre, superseding the original face value.
