| 正面描述 | The obverse is anchored by a vignette of Nejmeh Square (Parliament Square) in Beirut, with its celebrated star-shaped clock tower at centre, symbolising Lebanese independence and democracy. To the left, the baptistry of the Church of Saint John Mark (Cathedral) in Byblos appears as an architectural vignette rendered in warm tones. A transparent window in the shape of the Lebanese cedar — the national emblem — serves as the primary security device, with the tree image shifting in appearance under varying light and viewing angles, while selected architectural vignettes transition between their 1920 and 2020 appearances when the note is tilted. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse carries a sea-themed composition evoking Lebanon's Phoenician heritage and coastal landscape. The natural arch formation of the Pigeon Rocks off the Beirut corniche occupies the central vignette against a clouded sky, rendered in blue and teal tones. A Phoenician merchant vessel, drawn from ancient relief sources, sails in the lower register, while the inscription "100 ANS" in the upper right commemorates the centenary of the proclamation of Greater Lebanon in 1920. |

| 备注 |
Lebanon's first polymer banknote, issued as the country's financial system was collapsing in real time. The lira had already begun its catastrophic slide by late 2019, triggered by the sovereign debt crisis and cascading bank failures, making the 100,000 livre denomination — worth roughly $66 at the official rate when issued — nearly meaningless at street exchange within months of release. Commissioning from PWPW in Warsaw was a practical pivot away from Lebanon's usual suppliers, driven partly by cost and partly by the need for a more durable substrate as ATM servicing became irregular.
The transparent window security feature is relatively basic by polymer standards, reflecting a constrained procurement budget.
