The main field rests on a fine guilloche underprint and carries the issuer's name 'Die Stadtgirokasse Limbach Sa.' together with the denomination 'Einhundert Millionen Mark' in bold Gothic type, a bearer payment clause with a blank line for the payee's name, and the date 'am 5. | Description du revers | Printed entirely in grey on a continuous wave-line guilloche ground, the reverse is dominated by a large oval vignette set within an ornate cartouche of scrollwork, presenting a detailed view of a multi-storey civic building with tower steeples set among trees and enclosed by a walled courtyard. No lettering appears outside the central architectural vignette, the surrounding field being covered solely by the repeating guilloche pattern. |
