| Obverse description | Grey letterpress note on plain paper with a vertical left panel carrying the numeral '100' at head and foot flanking a circular vignette of the Limbach municipal coat of arms, with the monogram 'St. G. L.' positioned above and below the shield. The main field rests on a fine guilloche underprint and carries the issuer's name 'Die Stadtgirokasse Limbach Sa.' together with the denomination 'Einhundert Millionen Mark' in bold Gothic type, a bearer payment clause with a blank line for the payee's name, and the date 'am 5. Oktober 1923' at lower centre. Two manuscript signatures appear below the date, with the caption 'Stadthauptkasse.' to the right. |
