The upper panel bears the title ADÓJEGY in a dark rectangular cartouche, while the lower portion carries the issuance date BUDAPEST, 1946. ÉVI MÁJUS HÓ 25-ÉN and the manuscript signature of the Pénzügyminiszter (Minister of Finance). A warning inscription runs along the bottom panel stating that counterfeiting is punishable by law. |
