| Obverse description | The obverse features the Polish state eagle — the crowned White Eagle — rendered in high relief at center right, set against a field filled with faint, engraved text reproducing excerpts from the 1965 Letter of Polish Bishops to the German Bishops. Dominating the upper field in bold raised lettering is the key quotation «[...] UDZIELAMY WYBACZENIA I PROSIMY O NIE» ("We grant forgiveness and we ask for it"), arranged across multiple lines for visual emphasis. The date 2015 appears below the eagle, with the state name RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA inscribed in two lines beneath, and the denomination 10 ZŁ at the bottom of the coin. The mint mark MW of the Mint of Poland appears to the left of the date. The overall design integrates typographic and heraldic elements in a sophisticated proof finish. |
