| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a dignified three-quarter length effigy of Pope John Paul II in papal vestments, including a mozzetta and zucchetto, standing to the right of center with hands clasped before him. To his left stands a detailed depiction of the baptismal font of the Basilica of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary in Wadowice, the church where Karol Wojtyła was baptized, rendered in fine relief. Between the figure and the font, a small horizontal band in the colors of the Polish national flag (white and red) appears in color, providing the coin's single colored accent.
