Reverse description The reverse depicts a detailed aerial perspective view of the Mausoleum of King Wanggeon (Wang Geon), founder of the Goryeo dynasty, located near Kaesong. The tomb complex is shown with its characteristic tiered stone terraces, surrounding walls, and wooded hillside backdrop, all rendered in fine relief with a burnished finish. The legend 왕건왕릉 (Mausoleum of King Wanggeon) is inscribed in Korean script along the upper arc of the coin. Along the lower arc, the inscription 개성관광기념 (Commemorating Tourism in Kaesong) appears in Korean script, referencing the commemorative purpose of the issue.
