| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan occupies the central field, depicting two mythical winged horses (tulpars) flanking a central radiant sun above a traditional shanyrak (the upper dome of a yurt), with crossed ears of wheat below and a ribbon bearing the inscription ҚАЗАҚСТАН at the base. A five-pointed star appears at the apex of the design.
