The shield bears the heraldic devices of the kingdom's constituent territories. The denomination ZEHN THAL[ER] is inscribed in two lines flanking the wreath, with the date split to either side below the shield. The overall composition is bold and well-centred, consistent with the high-quality gold coinage of the Kingdom of Hannover. |
