The central silver field presents a high-relief scene of two robed figures in a desert landscape, one with arm raised dramatically, evoking a Biblical narrative illustrating the Second Commandment. Below the scene, the inscription 'II. Lex' identifies the commandment, and at the base two gold-plated stone tablets bearing the Roman numeral divisions of all Ten Commandments are depicted, flanked by ornamental floral motifs on the gold ring.
