| Mô tả mặt trước | A rose in full bloom with a butterfly resting on its petals occupies the central vignette, rendered in delicate multicolour tones against a guilloche underprint. Denomination numerals appear at left and right, with Arabic inscriptions identifying the issuing authority and denomination above and below the central motif. The year 2025 (1447 AH) is printed in Arabic numerals within the design. |

Syria's central bank turning to Goznak for printing work is itself a story. Western security printers became inaccessible to Damascus as sanctions tightened through the 2010s, and Russia's state printing house — the same operation that produces Russian federal documents and banknotes — quietly stepped in as a commercial partner. Goznak has supplied multiple Syrian series since that shift, making Moscow an unlikely production hub for Syrian currency.
The dual-year dating, 1447 AH alongside 2025 CE, reflects the Hijri calendar used in official Syrian state documents.
