| 背面描述 | The Ecuadorian national coat of arms, an ornate intaglio vignette centred on the note, surrounded by elaborate guilloche lacework filling the entire field in deep blue. The bank title BANCO CENTRAL DEL ECUADOR is inscribed at the top, and the denomination legend DIEZ SUCRES appears at the lower margin. | 备注 |
The Banco Central del Ecuador relied on the American Bank Note Company for the bulk of its mid-century printing contracts, and this long-running series reflects that continuity — the same basic plate served for over fifteen years with only minor revision to date ranges and signatures. ABNC's intaglio work on Ecuadorian issues from this period is competent rather than distinguished, though the registration is consistently tight.
Signatures vary considerably across the issue window, tracking changes in both the Gerente General and Interventor positions. Collectors assembling a complete signature run across P#109 will find at least a half-dozen distinct combinations.
