Description de l’avers	The Ecuadorian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval shield bearing a coastal scene with a steamship on the sea, surmounted by a condor with outstretched wings perched atop the shield. The shield is flanked by flags and palm and laurel branches, with fasces crossed below.
