| 正面描述 | Against a mirror-polished black field, the National Coat of Arms of the Kyrgyz Republic is depicted at centre, surrounded by an elaborate wreath of traditional Kyrgyz ornamental scrollwork rendered in relief. The Cyrillic legend 'Кыргызстандын Кызыл китеби' (Red Book of Kyrgyzstan) arcs along the upper border, while the issuer name 'КЫРГЫЗ РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ' appears around the coat of arms. The date '2016' is inscribed at the base of the oval field. |

| 背面描述 | A naturalistically rendered and colour-applied specimen of Fritillaria eduardii Regel (Edwards' fritillary) occupies the centre of the oval field, its tall stem bearing a terminal umbel of vivid orange and yellow blooms above two pendant, bell-shaped white flowers with lanceolate leaves. The plant rises from a relief-engraved foreground depicting rocky mountain terrain with a mountain range silhouette in the background. The Cyrillic common name 'Айгүл гүлү' and Latin binomial 'Fritillaria eduardii Regel' are inscribed along the upper border; the silver fineness 'Ag 925°' appears at lower left and the weight '28,28 g' at lower right. The denomination '10 СОМ' is boldly engraved in large raised letters across the lower foreground. |

Fritillaria eduardii, the imperial fritillary, grows wild in the Fergana Valley and surrounding mountain foothills — a narrow range spanning Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The plant has faced serious pressure from overharvesting for the ornamental bulb trade, which is part of why the National Bank selected it for this series rather than for purely aesthetic reasons. Kyrgyzstan has issued a consistent run of botanical and wildlife silver coins since the early 2000s, most sharing this specification, with subjects chosen partly in coordination with conservation messaging.
