A curved peripheral legend in Tamil script arcs along the left and Sinhala script along the upper left, with the Latin inscription 'Trincomalee' along the right. The date '2013' appears in the lower exergue. The design is contained within a raised inner border, with the characteristic eleven-sided outline of the coin visible at the periphery. |
